What three pieces of fitness equipment should everyone have?
Resistance bands will help improve balance, reduce joint pain, and help your body perform movements at higher speed.
The yoga mat is important because it is like a platform to many exercises. That can be done from the comfort of your home.
However, the most important piece of equipment is the foam roller. Many of fitness enthusiasts neglect the most important area of fitness, Recovery. The foam roller will help with mobility, which will help prevent injuries and keep you safe.
In your opinion, what are the most overrated and underrated exercises?
The most overrated exercise is the bench press or what I call the “ego exercise”. You can get the same or even better results from dumbbells or resistance bands.
The most underrated exercise that I do not ever leave out of my own routine would be sprints or what most people call high intensity interval training.
Can you share a workout session that you routinely do in the gym?
I normally start each of my workouts with 30 min of sprints, do intervals of sprinting for 30 seconds, followed by waking for 30 seconds. I do that for 30 min before and sometimes 30 min after my workout depending on my energy levels.
