Using the right tips and tools will help increase your chances of maintaining a healthy, balanced diet. The trendy nutritionist Pixie Turner has set out to give us access to the proper information that will get us on the path to a fabulous diet that will work for us! 1.) Focus on adding healthy habits in, not on cutting things out. For example, if you’re a big chocolate lover, then have a little chocolate in the evening, but make sure you’ve also had a delicious and nutritious evening meal that fills you up and satisfies you.
2.) Add in an extra portion of fruit or vegetables to every meal!
3.) Learn to listen to when you’re hungry and when you’re full.
4.) Find delicious meals that gives you at least 2 portions of your 5 a day that you can cook easily and you enjoy eating!
5.) Have these three things handy! Canned/ready cooked beans and pulses, hummus (the best salad dressing). A cookbook or blog you really enjoy cooking from that doesn’t require a trip to 3 different expensive shops
6.) There is no one size fits all when it comes to nutrition and health, and as such there is no one method that I would recommend. Having said that, if you don’t need to go gluten-free then don’t do it. Eat as wide a variety of foods as you can!
